Gray paper under overlay is used in the cutting process to prevent the fabric from stretching when it is cut on an automatic cutting machine. It is laid under the fabric overlay.

ECONOM paper under overlay is close to the PREMIUM class paper after features. However, it has significant differences, as it is made of cheaper fibrous materials, where the composition is dominated by wood mass (about 75%). It has no gluing and fillers or low content of the latter ( less than 5%). Even such a low content ensures the paper’s extra smoothness and whiteness.
